Stop Paint and Yard Waste in the Street
Yard waste collection day is every Tuesday, please place yard waste in your driveway at the curb on Mondays only, the night before collection pick up, do not place yard waste in the street or blocking a sidewalk. It is unlawful to place yard waste in the street per City of Orlando ordinance 31.19. Any debris placed in the street can be washed into the street drains affecting the drainage system and may result in a fine to the homeowner up to $1,000 from the City of Orlando, Florida Stormwater Utility.
In addition, please do not dispose of paint or any other hazardous chemicals in the trash/recycle bins, it is unlawful and will unfortunately end up being spilled on our streets. Disposal must be conducted in accordance with local laws and ordinances available at the following website: (www.cityoforlando.net/public_works/solidwaste).
Tree Trimming
There are a lot of trees in need of trimming in our community; Quality Ground Services, Inc. can provide this service at a reasonable price using a high-lift. Link to Quality Ground Services Flyer
Speed Limit is 25 MPH
The posted speed limit in NonaCrest is 25 MPH, which is consistent with the City of Orlando and Orlando Police Department guidelines. Please slow down, there are children at play! The Orlando Police Department is monitoring speed by radar and general traffic/parking violations. Be advised that parking violations such as the wrong way, blocking a sidewalk or parked within 30 feet of a stop sign may result in a citation.
